More than fifty members of the Capitaland Chorus attended the International Education Symposium, with the theme "Kickin' it up a Notch!", which offered nearly 200 classes in vocal production, performance skills, music theory, teamwork, and chorus administration, among other topics.
First place in the mid-size category was won by Metro Nashville Chorus of Tennessee. Other competitors included: 2nd place - City Voices Chorus, Missouri; 3rd place - Santa Monica Chorus, California; and 5th place - High Country Chorus, Colorado.
